| dc.description.abstract | Internet adalah sebuah media promosi yang efektif untuk kegiatan promosi yang murah dan efektif. Wista Corporation merupakan perusahaan tour dan travel yang baru di yogyakarta. Internet adalah salah satu media informasi yang cukup efektif dan murah dalam hal penyebarluasan informasi, baik dibidang penjualan maupun dibidang promosi. Wista Corporation sendiri masih butuh media untuk promosi yang berkaitan layanan jasa dari Wista Corporation. Selain itu sistem informasi yang terkomputeriasi dalam proses bsinis sangat penting untuk para pelaku bisnis. Selain mempermudah proses bisnis dengan sistem yang terkomputerisasi dapat merubah proses bisnis yang selama ini secara manual. Oleh karena itu penulis berinisiatif untuk membuat Sebuah Sistem Web Potal untuk Wista Corporation.
Dalam penelitian ini akan mencoba membuat Pengembangan Web Portal Pada Wista Corporation dengan Metode Visual hierarchy. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan dan pembuatan Wesbite ini ada Dua Metode yang pertama , untuk tampilan website menggunakan Metode Visual Hierarchy.Adapun fungsi dari Metode Visual Hierarchy ini untuk memperhatikan dari sisi Tampilan website yang akan dibuat, Sehingga nantinya pengunjung website akan nyaman ketika membuka website wista corporation. Dan untuk perangkat Website menggunakan metode Waterfall, metode ini nantinya digunakan untuk mulai dari proses awal analisa permasalahan samai dengan testing website tersebut. Sementara untuk bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan sebagai server-side scripting adalah HTML. Cascading Style Sheet(CSS) sebagai representasi content.
