dc.description.abstractEurope has been facing the biggest humanitarian crisis since 2013. The growing number of refugee arrival urged the European countries to find the best solution together with other international actors such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee (UNHCR). The ongoing conflict in Syria which started since 2011 became the later increased of the refugee arrival in Europe. Moreover, Syria considered as the world’s largest source of refugees. The high number of refugee arrival also produced some negative thought about its impact in Europe, such as the increase of the terrorism threat. As the special unit of the United Nations (UN), the UNHCR played an important role in responding to the Syrian refugee crisis in Europe during 2013-2015. The effort made by the UNHCR, European countries, and other international partners on giving the international assistances.en_US
