| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine the strategies of the economic development for the regional development of Magelang Regency by using the analysis method of Growth Ratio Model (MRP), Shift Share analysis, Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, Klassen Typology analysis, and SWOT analysis. The analysis was done using the PDRB comparison at Constant Price of Magelang Regency in 2010 and PDRB at Constant Price of Central Java Province in 2010.
The research result from the MRP analysis on the main sector in Magelang Regency that are the manufacturing sector, accomodation provision and food services sector, information and communication sector, educational services sector, and health services and social activities sector.
The analysis result of the Shift Share on the national growth component (Nij) are the agricultural sector, forestry and fishery, mixed component industry (Mij) are information and communication sector, competitive advantage component (Cij) and regional development (Dij) that is transportation and warehousing sector.
The LQ analysis result of Magelang Regency has 11 basic sectors and 5 non-basic sectors. The Klassen Typology analysis result are mining and excavation sector, accomodation provision and food services, information and communication sector, and educational service sector. The SWOT result are to increase economy by taking the existing opportunities and being able to compete in the international market. | en_US |
