| dc.description | The research aimed at finding out the leading sectors in Pacitan Regency. The analysis models used were Location Quontient Analysis (LQ), Shift Share Analysis, Growth Ratio Model Analysis, Overlay Analysis, Klassen Typology Analysis, and SWOT Analysis.
The research result of LQ analysis showed that there were eight sectors that were leading sectors. They were the sectors of agriculture, forestry, fishery, mining and quarrying, construction, information and communication, government administration, education service, health service and social activity, and other services. The research result of Shift Share analysis showed that the sectors which were potential were the sectors of wholesale and retail trade and automobile and motorcycle repair because they had the biggest value in the contribution of Gross Regional Domestic Product in Pacitan and had faster reveneu growth than that of the same sectors in East Java Province level. The research result of Growth Ratio Model Analysis showed that provision sectors of accommodation and food and beverage had the biggest contribution and they were the economy sectors which were outsanding both in Pacitan Regency and in East Java Province. The research result of Klassen Typology showed that the sectors of agriculture, forestry, fishery, government administration, defense and social security, health service and social activity, and other services were advanced sectors. Meanwhile, based on SWOT analysis, the strategies of leading sectors development policy that needed to do were increasing the local economy through basic sectir potential, increasing the service quality of health field, education and other basic education and social activity, increasing the quantity and quality of public facility and infrastructure and increasing the economy competitiveness. | en_US |
