| dc.description | Discourse of masculinity is the issue of gender that is often served in variety of media. These kind of social issue is keep to be shown by the media in the interests of the capitalists to meet demands. Ayat-Ayat Cinta is one of novel by Habiburrahman El Shirazy which narrates the concept of masculinity through it main character named Fahri. The author tried to build some concept of relation of a character of masculinity that is different from the previous concepts of masculinity. This research objective was determine how the narrative of masculinity of narrated show in the novel. This research use narratives analysis method though four stages, the are analysis of the elements of the narrative, Tzvetan Todorov’s narrative structure, Algirdas Greimas’s actant models and fungtional structure to find moments that associated with the narrates of masculinity in the text on the novel. The result of analysis found that the concept of masculinity that is narrated in the novel depicts the figure of the ideal man is a man whose more dominat than women, hard worker, compassionate, sensitive, romantic, humorous, love to pampered, appreciate the womens, always imitation to Rasulullah SAW, and as decision maker to his relationship with Aisha. He is also a man with have a strong faithful of god and responsibility maintain holy love in the world and in the hereafter. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Wacana maskulinitas merupakan isu mengenai konstruksi gender yang sering disajikan dalam berbagai media. Isu social seperti ini terus ditampilkan oleh media demi kepentingan kaum kapitalis untuk memenuhi tuntutan pasar. Ayat-Ayat Cinta adalah salah satu novel karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy yang menarasikan konsep maskulinitas melalui tokoh utama laki-lakinya yang bernama Fahri. Sang penulis mencoba membentuk sebuah konsep relasi karakter maskulinitas yang berbeda dari konsep-konsep maskulinitas sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana narasi maskulinitas dinarasikan dalam novel tersebut. Peneliti menggunakan metode analisis naratif melalui empat tahapan, yaitu analisis unsur narasi, struktur naratif Tzvetan Todorov, model aktan dan struktur fungsional Algirdas Greimas untuk menemukan peristiwa-peristiwa yang terkait dengan narasi maskulinitas dalam teks pada novel tersebut. Hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa konsep maskulinitas yang dinarasikan dalam novel tersebut menggambarkan sosok laki-laki ideal adalah laki-laki yang dominan dari pada perempuan, pekerja keras, penyayang, sensitif, romantis, humoris, suka dimanja, bisa menghargai perempuan, selalu meneladani Rasullah SAW, dan sebagai pengambil keputusan arah hubungannya dengan Aisha. Ia juga laki-laki yang teguh imannya dan sangat bertanggung jawab mempertahankan cinta suci di dunia maupun di akhirat. | en_US |
