dc.description.abstractThis undergraduate thesis explains about Japan’s efforts to give aid using ODA toward India’s High-Speed Railway. High-Speed Railway is a kind of transportation that using a train which exceeds a speed more than 200km/h. A lot of developed country and developing country already implemented this transportation. The aid that given from Japan to India actually had exists since history. A lot of investment has given to India from Japan which makes India able to develop their country. With the good economic growth India want to increase their transportation and India decide to use High-Speed Railway. As an infamous of High-Speed Railway owner, Japan tries to promote their well-known Shinkansen to outside of Japan. One of the countries that want to buy the HSR is India. Due to the expensiveness, Japan offers the loan through JICA in order to make India able to implement the technology.en_US
