dc.descriptionThis research concerned on farmers’ application step on organic rice farming system in the district of Bener, Purworejo. This research was conducted because of the farmers’ disinterests towards the use of organic rice farming system, and the farmers tend to apply conventional farming system. This research aims to find out the farmers’ application step towards the organic rice farming system and to find out the correlation which affected farmers’ application step towards the organic rice farming system. The respondents included in this research were 184 respondents who were determined by census for organic farmers and simple random sampling for conventional farmers. The result of this research showed that the farmers’ application step had not reach the maximum score which at once answered the problems of this research. The correlation happened between the characteristic and the application step showed that age had negative correlation and was not significant, level of education had positive correlation and was significant, land area had positive correlation and was not significant, farming experience had positive correlation and was significant.en_US
