| dc.description | This study was aimed to find out the participation, perception, and farmer
response of the use of varieties Mekongga of rice seed in Manunggal Karso
Farmer Group, Sidomulyo village, district of Godean, Sleman Regency. The study
has been done Gapoktan Sidomulyo in Sidomulyo village, Godean District choose
by purposivally, because Gapoktan Sidomulyo is only one farmers group in
Godean sub district which get the paddy seed Mekongga varities, and there is a
gapoktan called Gapoktan Sidomulyo in Sidomulyo village, which cooperate with
Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) District Godean in organizing field school
for farmer groups which is incorporated with Gapoktan Sidomulyo. The sampling
method used in this study was census method to Manunggal Karso Farmer Group
which took part in the field school program. The data was collected using
questionnaire and interview which were given to the farmers. The result of the
study showed that the participation of the farmers on the use of rice seed varieties
of Mekongga. aspect which was include in the “high” category, the perception
aspect which was include in the “excellent” category, and response was included
in the “positive” category. | en_US |
