dc.descriptionThis study aims to know out the process of adoption of jajar legowo technology, to know the adoption rate of jajar legowo planting technology and to know the role of agricultural extension in the adoption of jajar legowo technology. The basic method used is descriptive analysis. Respondent determination used simple random sampling, that is lottery. Techniques of data collection is by interview using questionnaires. The results of research that: the process of adoption of legowo row technology in Sewon Sub-District consisted of awareness, interest, appraisal, try and apply. From the adoption process that farmers apply jajar legowo system. This is because jajar legowo technology is more advantageous than tegel planting system. These benefits are viewed from a technical and economic point of view. The adoption rate of jajar legowo technology in Sewon sub district was obtained from the range of scores 68,38 with high category, meaning that the extension in conveying program information about legowo jajar technology was successful. The role of agricultural extension of Sewon Sub-District obtained a score of 62.18 with the high category, meaning that the role of agriculture has a real role to the adoption rate of existing technology.en_US
