dc.descriptionAn increasingly advanced automotive development, makes many modifications to the ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) with various specifications, models and functions to support the needs of transportation, sports, and field work. To support an ATV that has a large power and has a heavy load, required the compatible power transfer support system, one of which is the compatible clutch system such as dry clutch system. The first step of this thesis is the making of stand, observation, and data processing about mechanical dry clutch unit component on atv (All Terrain Vehicle) machine TOYOCO G16ADP 2 stroke 160 cc. This thesis, resulted in the specification of mechanical dry clutch components on a very simple 160cc TOYOCO G16ADP 2-stroke engine by clutch couplings clamped by flywheels and pressure plates so that the power of the combustion engine can be transmitted to the transmission through the transmission shaft and Power discharges are regulated by a realese bearing that presses the diaphragm spring so that the pressure plate does not clamp the clutch. The clutch maintenance and troubleshooting engine performance which decreased due to power cut from excessive engine can be done by reducing clutch pressure and periodic services.en_US
dc.description.abstractPerkembangan otomotif yang semakin maju menjadikan banyak modifikasi ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) dengan berbagai spesifikasi, model dan fungsinya untuk menunjang kebutuhan transportasi, olahraga, dan bidang pekerjaan. Untuk menunjang ATV yang memiliki power besar dan memiliki beban berat dibutuhkan sistem pendukung transfer daya yang sesuai, salah satunya yaitu sistem kopling yang sesuai seperti sistem kopling kering. Langkah awal tugas akhir ini yaitu pembuatan stand, pengamatan, dan pengolahan data tentang komponen unit kopling kering mekanis pada mesin atv (All Terrain Vehicle) TOYOCO G16ADP 2 langkah 160 cc. Tugas akhir ini menghasilkan spesifikasi komponen kopling kering mekanis pada mesin atv (All Terrain Vehicle) TOYOCO G16ADP 2 langkah 160 cc yang sangat sederhana dengan cara kerja kampas kopling dijepit oleh roda gila dan pelat penekan agar daya dari mesin bakar dapat diteruskan ke transmisi melalui poros transmisi dan pelepasan daya diatur oleh realese bearing yang menekan pegas diafragma sehingga pelat penekan tidak menjepit kampas kopling. Perawatan kopling dan troubleshooting performa mesin yang menurun akibat pemutusan daya dari mesin bakar yang berlebih dapat dilakukan dengan mengurangi tekanan kopling terlalu lama serta servis berkala.en_US
