dc.description.abstractTyphoid fever is a contagious diseases caused by the bacterium Salmonella typhi. In 2011 the proportion of hospitalized patients with typhoid fever and other gastrointestinal diseases in Special Region of Yogyakarta is reached 11.536 cases. Treatment of typhoid fever can’t be done optimally because of strains Multidrug Resistant Salmonella typhi. Evaluation of the antibiotics was performed using DU 90% method. This study aims to determine the profile of antibiotic use and antibiotic evaluation of hospitalized patients with typhoid fever in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul in 2015. This is a non experimental study with descriptive analytic design. The study using 30 data sample. Antibiotics analysis using DU 90%. The study showed that ceftriaxone, levofloxacin and azithromycin are included in the DU 90%.en_US
