dc.descriptionHospital as a medical service installation cannot be separated from the presence of a number of microorganisms. Microorganisms are almost found in all rooms which are suspended with air. The cell size of such tiny microorganisms makes it easy to get blown by the airflow. The spread of microorganisms in the air derives from dust particles that enter the room. The existence of these microorganisms will affect the room whose sterility should be maintained, such as operating room, laboratory and pharmacy. This study aims to make room sterilizer equipment with UV protection based on ATMega 328p microcontroller. The component used is a 45 watt UV lamp to kill bacteria, Atmega 328p IC to control the overall working system and blowers to absorb the air in the room. The testing of the tool is carried out in the Laboratory of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. From the test results, during the room sterilization with 45-watt UV ultraviolet light with room area of 21 m3 for 15 minutes, it is obtained that the number of colonies before sterilization is very full (cannot be calculated) and after the sterilization, it is obtained 26 colonies. After that, sterilization with the duration of 30 minutes is carried out. Then, it is obtained the results that before sterilization, there were 60 colonies and after sterilization there were 15 colonies. Further sterilization for 45 minutes obtained results that before sterilization, there were 25 colonies and after sterilization there were 4 colonies. The results of the 15-minute timer test with 20 attempts obtain an average of 897.85 seconds, 2.15 seconds of deviation and 0.23% of error. The 30-minute timer test obtains an average of 1,798.5 seconds, 1.5 seconds of deviation and 0.08% of error. The 45-minute timer test obtains an average of 2,697 seconds, 2.69 seconds of deviation and 0.09% of error.en_US
dc.description.abstractRumah sakit sebagai instalasi pelayanan medis tidak mungkin lepas dari keberadaan sejumlah mikroorganisme. Hampir pada semua ruangan didapatkan mikroorganisme yang tersuspensi dengan udara. Ukuran sel mikroorganisme yang sedemikian kecil menyebabkan mudah terhembus oleh aliran udara. Penyebaran mikroorganisme di udara berasal dari partikel debu yang masuk dalam ruangan. Keberadaan mikroorganisme ini akan berpengaruh pada ruangan yang seharusnya terjaga kesterilisannya seperti ruang operasi, laboratorium dan farmasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat sterilisator ruangan dengan UV protection berbasis microcontroller ATMega 328p. Komponen yang digunakan yaitu lampu UV 45 watt untuk membunuh bakteri, IC Atmega 328p untuk mengontrol sistem kerja keseluruhan dan fan untuk menghisap udara di ruangan. Pengujian alat dilakukan di Laboratorium Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan waktu sterilisasi ruangan dengan lampu UV ultraviolet 45 watt dengan luas ruangan 21 m³ selama 15 menit didapatkan koloni sebelum sterilisasi yaitu sangat penuh/tidak dapat dihitung dan setelah dilakukan sterilisasi 26 koloni. Selanjutnya dilakukan sterilisasi selama 30 menit didapatkan hasil sebelum sterilisasi 60 koloni dan setelah dilakukan sterilisasi 15 koloni. Selanjutnya dilakukan sterilisasi selama 45 menit didapatkan hasil sebelum sterilisasi 25 koloni dan setelah dilakukan sterilisasi 4 koloni. Dari hasil pengujian timer selama 15 menit dengan 20 kali percobaan didapatkan rata-rata 897,85 detik, penyimpangan 2,15 detik dan error 0,23%. Pengujian timer selama 30 menit didapatkan rata-rata 1,798,5 detik, penyimpangan 1,5 detik dan error 0,08%. Pengujian timer selama 45 menit didapatkan rata-rata 2.697 detik, penyimpangan 2,69 detik dan error 0,09%.en_US
