| dc.description.abstract | This research aiming to review the profile of coatal farmers, coastal conservation techniques and farmers perception on coastal lan conservation in Sanden, Bantul. Sample determinated by purposive in Sanden district. Primary data collected through interview methods using constructed questionnaires of 65 active farmers at Kelompok Tani Manunggal. Data analyzed by description. Productive age of Sanden Farmers majority are 35-68 years and male, high scool graduated with farming as permanent job and some other are fishermen and ranchers, also planting horticultura crops 200-500m from the coast area. Coastal land conservation technique applied vegetatively by applying hallway cultivation system, grass lane, windbreaker, watering wells and irrigation systems. Farmers perseption of coastal land conservation are categorized Farmers revealed that coastal land conservation plays an important role of farming sustainability in coastal lands. | en_US |
