dc.description.abstractThe research was conducted to obtain the effective dosage of lime peel powder as pesticides and to understand the effect of lime peel powder on the rice quality. The research was conducted in Laboratory of Plant Protection, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta on September 2017. The research was conducted using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a single factor with three replications. The treatment was concentration of lime peel powder with 5 levels: 10 %, 20 %, 30 %, and 40 %. Every treatment was repeated 3 times. The observation was the food preference, mortality, efficacy, speed of death, rice quality and quantity of the cooked rice. The result shows that the lime peel powder with concentration of 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40 was less effective to against the rice weevil pests, and the lime peel powder reduce the quality of cooked rice.en_US
