dc.description.abstractStructural Adjustment Programme (SAP) is an economic reform policy package which was suggested by IMF and World Bank for developing countries. Many developing countries includes African countries set this SAP to solve their economic problem. But there is still no guarantee that this program will able to stimulate the economic development in the developing countries. This thesis will mainly discuss about how SAP influences the economic development in African countries specifically in Nigeria as a case study. I would like to show that SAP has a positive contribution on Nigeria economy growth. According to the data, this thesis supports the IMF and the World Banks policies to enhance the stability of economy especially in Niegria.en_US
