| dc.description.abstract | Rubber is an important commodity in the industry, which is expected rubber
farmers have high productivity of latex obtained in the intercepts. However, the
result of latex obtained by rubber farmers is not maximal with the application of
tapping technology, so this research needs to be studied in order to describe the
application of rubber tapping technology and to know the factors that influence
the application of rubber tapping technology. Data were collected through
interviews, observations and documentation, which were further described.
Determination of respondents by census, the number of respondents 65 rubber
farmers who live in Block E. The method of analysis using a score analysis to
determine the application level of tapping technology and multiple linear
regression to determine the factors that influence the application of tapping
technology. The results showed that the application of rubber tapping technology
in moderate category, plant age 6-7 years, 2-3 mm depth, east-north tapping
direction, tilt angle 200-290 and wiretapping time 04.00-08.00 WIB. Factors
affecting the application of wiretapping technology are the status of land
ownership, there is a difference between the status of own land ownership and the
land ownership status not own property. Sex, there is influence between male and
female genitalia. Knowledge, the more knowledge of farmers, the more the
application of tapping technology. Culture, there is a difference between farmers'
habits of applying intercepts of <3 component with> 2 components. Age of rubber
farmers, the older or higher the age of rubber farmers, the decreasing the level of
application of tapping technology, this is because the age of rubber farmers is
