| dc.description | Malioboro merupakan suatu kawasan komersial di Yogyakarta dengan berbagai macam fasilitas dan kegiatan perdagangan, pariwisata juga hiburan. Dalam satu hari jumlah wisatawan di kawasan Malioboro lebih dari 4.000 orang, yang memungkinkan sebagian besar pengguna layanan internet. Jaringan 3G yang berkecepatan 14Mbps dan jaringan 4G yang berkecepatan 100Mbps untuk pengguna mobile. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konektivitas data internet jaringan 3G dan 4G di Malioboro. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey deskriptif yang mendeskripsikan peristiwa yang diteliti tanpa melakukan tindak lanjut terhadap pengukuran yang dilakukan. Peneliti menggunakan 2 cara yaitu kuesioner dan drive test dari provider Telkomsel, Indosat, XL, dan 3(Three) pada 2 waktu penelitian yaitu hari kerja dan hari libur. Hasil analisis menunjukkan rata-rata konektivitas internet jaringan 3G dan 4G di Malioboro sudah memenuhi kebutuhan conversation voice dan voice messaging sesuai standart throughput ITU, tetapi untuk high quality streaming video dan videophone provider Indosat jaringan 4G pada pengamatan hari libur, provider Telkomsel jaringan 3G pada pengamatan hari kerja, dan provider XL jaringan 3G pada pengamatan hari kerja belum memenuhi nilai standart throughput yang ditetapkan oleh ITU. Berdasarkan hasil survey dari kebutuhan pelanggan sebesar 73,4% responden melakukan aktivitas berupa chatting, dimana nilai standar throughput untuk chatting menurut ITU adalah sebesar >4 Kbps, maka kebutuhan pelanggan internet di kawasan Malioboro sudah terpenuhi. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Malioboro is a commercial area in Yogyakarta with various facilities and trade activities, tourism as well as entertainment. In one day the number of tourists in Malioboro more than 4,000 people, which allows most users of internet services. A 14Mbps 3G network and a 100Mbps 4G network for mobile users. This study aims to determine the connectivity of Internet data 3G and 4G networks in Malioboro. The method used in this study using descriptive survey method that describes the events studied without doing follow-up on the measurements made. Researchers use 2 ways namely questionnaire and drive test from provider Telkomsel, Indosat, XL, and 3 (Three) at 2 time of research that is work day and holiday. The analysis shows that the average internet connectivity of 3G and 4G networks in Malioboro meets the needs of voice conversations and voice messaging according to ITU standard, but for high quality video streaming and videophone provider Indosat 4G network on holiday observation, Telkomsel provider of 3G network on observation working days, and XL 3G network providers on the observation of working days have not met the standard throughput value set by ITU. Based on survey results from customer needs of 73.4% of respondents perform activities in the form of chats, where the value of throughput standards for chats according to ITU is> 4 Kbps, then the needs of Internet customers in the region have been met Malioboro. | en_US |
