dc.description.abstractThis study will discuss, the impact of the French intervention to Ivory Coast in 2011 on social politics and economics Cote d’Ivoire. Cote d’Ivoire is a country in West Africa. In 2010 the presidential election was held but the presidential election sparked a civil war in Cote d’Ivoire caused by President Laurent Gbagbo refusing to step down from office after losing against Alassane Ouattara. Clashes between the two sides can not be avoided until there are casualties against civilians. France under the mandate of the PPB Security Resolution Council intervened to Côte d'Ivoire to rescue civilians and stop heavy weapons use against civilians.en_US
