| dc.description | Jugun ianfu adalah salah satu isu penting yang memengaruhi kestabilan hubungan diplomatik Korea Selatan dan Jepang. Para korban jugun ianfu yang sebagian besar berasal dari Korea Selatan menuntut permintaan maaf secara resmi dan tanggung jawab dari pemerintah Jepang baik secara hukum maupun moral. Permasalahan ini bukan hanya dianggap sebagai sebuah pelanggaran terhadap perempuan, tetapi secara umum juga dianggap sebagai sebuah pelanggaran terhadap Hak Asasi Manusia.
Beberapa tindakan yang pernah dilakukan oleh pemerintah Jepang sebagai wujud tanggung jawab terhadap para korban dan pemerintah Korea Selatan dianggap belum cukup untuk melepaskan Jepang dari tanggung jawabnya. Bahkan pemerintah Korea Selatan sempat mengancam akan memutuskan hubungan diplomatik kedua negara. Pada tahun 2015, Korea Selatan dan Jepang mengejutkan banyak pihak atas pengumuman yang dilakukan oleh kedua negara terkait isu jugun ianfu. Melalui Menteri Luar Negerinya masing-masing kedua negara menyatakan telah berhasil menyelesaikan isu tersebut melalui sebuah perjanjian yang telah dicapai oleh kedua negara.
Skripsi ini akan meneliti tentang faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan pemerintah Korea Selatan mempercepat penyelesaian isu jugun ianfu dengan Jepang melalui perjanjian jugun ianfu tahun 2015. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Comfort woman is one of the most important issues affecting the stability of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Japan. The comfort woman victims, mostly from South Korea, demand formal apology and responsibility from the Japanese government both legally and morally. This issue is not only considered a violation of women, but in general is also considered a violation of Human Rights.
Some actions that have been made by the Japanese government as a form of responsibility for the victims and the South Korean government are considered not enough to release Japan from its responsibilities. Even the South Korean government had threatened to sever diplomatic relations between the two countries. In 2015, South Korea and Japan shocked many parties over the announcement made by the two countries on the issue of comfort woman. Through its foreign ministers, both countries declare that they have successfully resolved the issue through an agreement reached by both countries.
This thesis will research about the factors that led the South Korean government to accelerate the settlement of the comfort woman issue with Japan through the agreement on comfort woman in 2015. | en_US |
