dc.description.abstract | This thesis contains the cause of disasters in Kalimantan Timur. To resolve that, Kalimantan Timur uses disaster diplomacy concept. The outputs of Kalimantan Timur policies for handling disaster using disaster diplomacy vary. Kalimantan Timur implemented disaster diplomacy concept to handle disaster that occurred in Kalimantan Timur by using official routes and unofficial routes. Official routes are implemented by Kalimantan Timur to resolve disaster with interaction of Kalimantan Timur government called government-led interactions with Australia through official agreement. Unofficial routes are implemented by Kalimantan Timur to resolve disaster with interaction of organisation-led and people-led. By using those tracks as foreign policies for disaster diplomacy result on how many networks Kalimantan Timur add up. These tracks result in how Kalimantan Timur succeed on cooperating with AVI and Japan institutions for resolving disaster. Hence, disaster diplomacy is the right mean to be used by an authorized province to not only resolve disaster but also expand international cooperation in Kalimantan Timur. | en_US |
