| dc.description | Konflik yang terjadi di Semenanjung Korea telah berlangsung
sejak tahun 1950-1953. Meskipun telah mengalami gencatan senjata,
namun konflik diantara keduanya masih kerap terjadi. Terlebih
kepemilikan nuklir oleh Korea Utara menjadi ancaman baru dalam
kestabilan dan keamanan di kawasan Asia Timur. Sebagai negara
adikuasa, Amerika Serikat terlibat dalam upaya penyelesaian konflik
tersebut. Upaya denuklirisasi Korea Utara dilakukan dengan
melibatkan enam negara atau yang dikenal dengan Six Party Talks.
Penelitian ini akan menjelaskan mengenai tindakan Amerika yang
tidak menggunakan serangan militer dan lebih menekankan pada
perundingan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan
variabel yang tersedia sehingga penelitian ini hanya melakukan
analisa data berdasar data serta informasi resmi yang valid dan

| dc.description.abstract | The conflict that occurred in Korea Peninsula has lasted
since 1950-1953. Despite having undergone a ceasefire, but the
conflict between the two still often occur. What's North Korea
nuclear ownership by becoming a new threat in the stability and
security in the East Asian region. As a superpower, the United States
engaged in the conflict resolution efforts. North Korea
denuclearization efforts done by involving the Six Nations or known
as the Six Party Talks. This research will explain the actions of
Americans who do not use the military attack and the greater
emphasis on negotiations. The method used was qualitative methods
and variables that are available so that the research just do the data
analysis is based on official data and information are valid and
