This study aims to determine what factors are causing the decline of export-import value between North Korea and China. The decline in export-import value is influenced by North Korea's nuclear instrument as an instrument of diplomacy to the international world in order to achieve its national interest where the reason North Korea uses nuclear as a means of diplomacy is the reason for the survival regime, economic reasons and security reasons. The method used by the author is the content analysis with the collection of information, looking for references related to the cases discussed. The author uses the theory of International Politics in this research. The results of this study indicate that the UN Security Council resolution N0. 2094 and the threats posed by countries in the outside world to North Korea are the factors that lead to declining export and import values between North Korea and China. The UN Security Council passed the 2094 resolution in response to a North Korea nuclear test in 2013 that has been seen as a world threat and threats from the world's nations to North Korea as they consider the nuclear test conducted by North Korea can pose a threat to the national security of each country.en_US
