| dc.description | Tiongkok merupakan salah satu negara yang terletak di Asia Timur dengan jumlah penduduk atau populasi terbanyak di dunia. Peran Deng Xiaoping dalam menciptakan Tiongkok sebagai kekuatan baru ekonomi dunia melalui kebijakan ekonomi dan politiknya. Tiongkok masuk ke dalam reformasi ekonomi yang lebih berorientasi pada pasar (kapitalisme) dengan tetap mempertahankan sistem pemerintahan komunisnya. Selain itu, dengan dibukanya pintu ekonomi bagi perdagangan asing dan investasi memulai fase baru Tiongkok dalam berhubungan dengan dunia luar. Salah satu faktor utama yang dapat membuat laju perkembangan ekonomi Tiongkok adalah dengan masuknya perusahaan multinasional (MNC) ke negara tersebut. Tetapi, dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh perusahaan multinasional (MNC) sendiri tidak hanya positif bagi Tiongkok melainkan juga memiliki dampak negatif. Dampak negatif yang dirasakan langsung oleh masyarakat dewasa ini adalah dengan timbulnya berbagai masalah lingkungan hidup. Peningkatan kadar emisi gas karbon yang diakibatkan oleh perusahaan multinasional (MNC) baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap Tiongkok sangat dirasakan oleh masyarakat.
Karya tulis ini bertujuan untuk membahas lebih lanjut mengenai pengaruh kerjasama antara salah satu perusahaan multinasional dengan pemerintah dalam menurunkan kadar emisi gas karbon. Karya tulis ini mengambil salah satu perusahaan multinasional yaitu perusahaan pertambangan BHP Billiton yang dimana perusahaan tersebut merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang juga menimbulkan masalah lingkungan yang dihadapi Tiongkok saat ini. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | China is one of the country located in east asia with the most of inhabitant or population in the world. The role of deng xiao ping in creating China as a new strength of world economy through its economic and politic’s policy. China is belong to economic reformation with market oriented (capitalism) which is still defend to its communism administration system. In the other hand, the impact of the open of economic door to the foreign commerce and investation has began the new phase of China in relation to the outside world. One of the main factor which made the rapid of the economic develpment in China is the entrance of multinational business to the country. But the impact of multinational business has the positive and negative side to China itself. The negative impact which directly felc by the society is the emerged of the sphere. The increased of the carbon gas emission which caused by multinational business (MNC) directly or indirectly to China can be feel by the society.
This paper aimed to investigate about the effect of the cooperation between one of the multinational business with the goverment in the way increasing carbon gas emission. This paper took one of multinational business that is mining business of BHP Billiton as one of the business which causing the sphere problem in China. | en_US |
