dc.descriptionKedelai (Glycine max L.) merupakan tanaman kacang-kacangan yang sudah lama dikenal dan dibudidayakan di Indonesia. Kerusakan benih kedelai selama masa penyimpanan akibat serangan hama gudang, salah satunya yaitu Callosobruchus maculatus F menyebabkan kerusakan hingga 80%. Alternatif pengendalian yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan serbuk rimpang alang-alang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis serbuk rimpang alang-alang yang efektif untuk mengendalikan hama gudang Callosobruchus maculatus F., dan mampu mempertahankan mutu benih kedelai selama penyimpanan. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode percobaan laboratorium menggunakan rancangan faktor tunggal dengan 6 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan yang disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Perlakuan yang diujikan adalah dosis serbuk rimpang alang-alang yaitu : 0 gram serbuk rimpang alang-alang (kontrol), 10 gram serbuk rimpang alang-alang, 20 gram serbuk rimpang alang-alang, 30 gram serbuk rimpang alang-alang, 40 gram serbuk rimpang alang-alang, 0,9 mg phostoxin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan serbuk rimpang alang-alang dosis 10 gram efektif untuk mengendalikan hama Callosobruchus maculatus F., dengan nilai efikasi 100%, akan tetapi serbuk rimpang alang-alang belum mampu mengendalikan perkembangan generasi baru hama Callosobruchus maculatus F., dan belum mampu mempertahankan mutu benih mutu benih kedelai sampai dengan 2 bulan umur simpan.en_US
dc.description.abstractSoybean (Glycine max L.) is a bean plant that has long been known and cultivated in Indonesia. The damage to soybean seed during storage due to post harvestpest such as Callosobruchus maculatus F. causes damage to 80%. An alternative method to control post harvest pest is by using rhizome alang-alang powder. The purpose of this research was to get the effective dose of alang-alang rhizome powder to control C. maculatus F., so as to maintain the quality of soybean seed during storage. A laboratory experiment was conducted with 6 treatments and 3 replications, and arranged in Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments which used in this research were: 0 grams of alang-alang rhizome powder (control), 10 grams of alang-alang rhizome powder, 20 grams of alang-alang rhizome powder, 30 grams of alang-alang rhizome powder, 40 grams of alang-alang rhizome powder and 0,9 mg phostoxin (syntetic pesticides). Results showed that 10 gram of alang-alang rhizome powder was effective to control the C. maculatus F., with 100% efficacy value. However, the rhizome alang-alang powder could not control the development of new generation C. maculatus F., and also could not yet maintain the quality of soybean seeds up to 2 months of shelf life.en_US
