dc.description | Keselamatan pasien menjadi hal yang sangat penting di rumah sakit.
Keselamatan pasien perlu diperhatikan agar dalam penanganan pasien tidak
terjadi Kejadian Tidak Diharapkan, mengurangi keluhan sekaligus
meningkatkan mutu rumah sakit. Tenaga kesehatan yang kompeten seperti
dokter, perawat, apoteker dan lain sebagainya akan meningkatkan
keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit. Untuk menilai kompetensi sumber daya
manusia rumah sakit, dapat diukur dengan kredensial. Proses kredensial perlu
dilakukan kepada apoteker karena walaupun seorang apoteker telah mendapat
ijazah apoteker dari suatu perguruan tinggi terakreditasi, rumah sakit tetap
wajib melakukan verifikasi kompetensi melalui proses kredensial demi
keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit dan menghindari terjadinya Kejadian
Tidak Diharapkan yang dapat membahayakan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini
adalah menganalisis sistem kredensial apoteker di Indonesia, khususnya
sistem kredensial apoteker di rumah sakit wilayah Yogyakarta.
Penelitian kualitatif dilakukan di Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data
dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam yang dihadiri oleh perwakilan
organisasi profesi dan dikumpulkan melalui Diskusi Kelompok Terarah
(FGD) yang dihadiri oleh apoteker yang bekerja di rumah sakit di
Yogyakarta. Sebanyak satu perwakilan dari organisasi profesional dan lima
belas apoteker berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini sebagai dua kelompok
responden. Hasil wawancara mendalam dan FGD dianalisis dengan
pendekatan kualitatif.
Untuk hasil penelitian ini, saat ini diketahui belum ada regulasi khusus
yang berkekuatan hukum dari pemerintah terkait sistem kredensial bagi
apoteker. Sistem kredensial menjadi kebutuhan rumah sakit setelah adanya
akreditasi dan pemenuhan persyaratan administratif akreditasi menjadi
motivasi utama diterapkannya kredensial apoteker.
Apoteker memiliki kebutuhan perbaikan sistem kredensial baik secara
teori maupun aplikasinya. Harapan praktisi apoteker terhadap proses
kredensial apoteker yang ideal sangat memungkinkan dilakukan dengan
elemen pendukung dari organisasi profesi.

dc.description.abstract | Patient safety is very important in the hospital. Patient safety needs to
be considered so that in handling patients there is no Adverse Events,
reducing complaints while improving the quality of the hospital. Competent
health professional such as doctors, nurses, pharmacists and others will
improve the patient safety in hospital. To assess the competence of hospital
human resources can be measured by credentials. The credential process
needs to be done to the pharmacist because although a pharmacist has
received a pharmacist's diploma from an accredited college, the hospital
remains obliged to perform competence verification through the credential
process for the patient safety in the hospital and avoid occurrence of Adverse
Events that can endanger patients. The purpose of this study is to analyze the
pharmacist credential system in Indonesia, especially the pharmacist
credential system in the Yogyakarta area hospital.
The qualitative study was conducted in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The data
were collected through in-depth interview which was attended by
representative of the professional organization and collected through focus
group discussion which was attended by pharmacists working in hospitals in
Yogyakarta. A total of one representative of the professional organization
and fifteen pharmacists participated in the study as two groups of
respondents. The results of the in-depth interview and FGDs were analyzed
with a qualitative approach.
For the results of this study, currently known there is no specific law
enforcement regulation related to the credential system for pharmacists. The
credential system becomes a hospital requirement after the accreditation and
fulfillment of administrative requirements of accreditation become the main
motivation to implement pharmacist credentials.
Pharmacist has the needs of improving the credential system both in
theory and application. Expectations of pharmacist practitioners on the
process of ideal pharmacist credentials are possible with supporting
elements of professional organizations
