Background: Deep relaxation techniques and Murottal Al-Qur'an therapy are effective methods for reducing symptoms and hemodynamic status in patients before surgery. In this study researchers conducted treatments to provide preoperative patients. Purposes: This study aims to determine the effect of deep and murottal Al-Qur'an breath relaxation techniques on anxiety and hemodynamics in patients with major surgical surgery Method: The design of this study use a pre-experimental method with the pre-test and post-test design with the control group design. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with respondents as many as 60 patients. Results: From the results of the Wilcoxon test analysis showed a decrease in anxiety with a p value of 0.000 < 0.05. Hemodynamics related to blood pressure, pulse and respiration based on Wilcoxon test analysis in the intervention group on average there was a significant effect with p value systole 0.000, diastole 0.033, pulse 0.000 and respiration 0.000 meaning the data was significant < 0.05. Conclusion: There was a significant effect on anxiety and hemodynamic status before and after being given deep breathing relaxation techniques and murottal Al-Qur'an therapyen_US
