dc.descriptionIndonesia-Australia relations are so close not just geopolitics, but this good relationship has been built for a long time, various forms of cooperation among other interwoven with any political, economic, security, tourism and so forth, this is done so that the two countries relations grew stronger and mutually can build. Especially economic cooperation in the field of beef imports, this beef import cooperation has an important role because the need for beef cattle has also become one of the foodstuffs needed by the community. This is indicated by the amount of national meat consumption that must be met. Therefore, beef imports from Australia often occur because of requests from policies adopted by the Indonesian government. But in the period 2010-2014 began to experience a decrease in imports of beef from Australia. This study aims to determine what factors make Indonesia have to import beef. The initial suspicion of this case is the lack of ability of the Indonesian government to tackle national beef needs and make imports from Australia.en_US
