dc.descriptionThis study aims to examine the role of the information system supported by information technology in order to optimize village financial management in Indragiri Local Government. The method of research was conducted by questionaire survey to 100 village governmental officers. Paired sample t-test is used to examine the capability of the officer in financial management before and after the course. The result of the examination show there is capacity improvement in financial management by all the village governmental officers. Maximum theoretical value of the average respondent's answer is 50 and a minimum of 10, so the average is 30, based on the number of questions a 10-point questions and each question has a point value ranging from 1 to 5. Based on the data above, although not maximum, prior to the workshop understanding the village officials are below average (24.15) and after the workshop to increase to above average (38.77). Based on the above findings it is necessary for both the central government and local governments to facilitate the support of information systems in particular financial information system supported by information technology to improve the understanding of the village officials in understanding the philosophy and be able to implement good governance rural finance that can be supported the establishment of good governance government towards civil society.en_US
