dc.descriptionThis study aims to determine the best explant combination and Thidiazuron concentration on Vanda tricolor orchid growth. This research was conducted at the In vitro Culture Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, from February to May 2018. The research was carried out using a single factor experiment method. The treatments tested were prepared in a Completely Randomized Design (RAL). Each treatment consists of 10 replications so that a total of 30 units. All treatments were added 0.5 mg / l NAA, 0.2 g / l activated charcoal and 0.5 ml / l Plant Preservative Mixure (PPM). The treatments tested included: PLB + 0 mg / l TDZ; PLB + 0.5 mg / l TDZ; PLB + 1 mg / l TDZ; Shoots + 0 mg / l TDZ; Shoots + 0.5 mg / l TDZ; Shoots + 1 mg / l TDZ. The concentration of 0.5 mg / l TDZ is the concentration that provides the best growth of PLB in vitro.en_US
