dkk, 2007). Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) cedera mengakibatkan 5,8 juta
Metode: quasy experimental study with kontrol group design dengan rancangan pre-test-posttest
kontrol tentang pengetahuan komponen first aid box dan penanganan cedera anak toddler
| en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Background: Injuries are a threat to health worldwide (Kuschithawati et al, 2007). According to
the World Health Organization (WHO) injuries resulting in 5.8 million deaths worldwide.
According DINKES Bantul (2014), the prevalence of injury in children ages toddler is falling
(8.9%), drowning accidents (20.6%), bone fracture (2.6%), burns (5.3%), intruding foreign
bodies (9.7%), unexpected injury (8.7%), and poisoning (10.26%).
Objective: To determine the effect of health education on the level of parental knowledge in
handling injury toddler child in the household.
Methods: quasy experimental study with control group design with the design of pre-test-posttest
to test the effect of health education on the level of parental knowledge in handling injury
toddler child in the household. Test sample 44 at 22 for the control group and 22 to the
intervention group. Test the validity of using the Pearson product moment and reliability testing
using the KR-20. Data were tested by paired T-test and Independent T-Test.
Results: The results of statistical tests the level of knowledge of the design of pre-test-post-test
control group on the knowledge component of first aid box and the handling of child injury
toddler obtained significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05), whereas in the intervention group also
showed that 0,000 significant (p <0.05). Statistical test results Independent T-Test on the posttest
control and intervention group obtained probability value sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (p <0.05).
Conclusion: there is the effect of health education on the level of parental knowledge | en_US |
