dc.descriptionLatar belakang : Menopause pada tahun ketahun akan mengalami peningkatan, dengan usia menopause rata-rata berada pada usia 49 tahun, sedangnkan menurut teori ovarium akan berhenti bereproduksi ketika usia memasuki 50 tahun. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi usia menopause salah satunya adalah penggunaan kontrasepsi hormonal. Penggunaan kontrasepsi hormonal masih banyak digunakan untuk menghentikan kehamilan, di Yogyakarta sebanyak 89% wanita usia subur masih aktif menggunakan kontrasepsi. Tujuan penelitian : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penggunaan kontrasepsi hormonal dengan usia menopause. Metode penelitian : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif non-eksperimental bersifat analitis dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 57 orang diambil dengan purposive sampling, yang didasarkan pada pertimbangan kriteria inklusi, instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa kuesioner. Hasil : Sebagian besar responden menopause pada usia 45-50 tahun, responden dengan penggunaan kontrasepsi hormonal sebanyak 23 responden, rata-rata penggunaan kontrasepsi hormonal 45,18, rata-rata lama penggunaan pil 21,60, suntik 22,95, dan implan 0,63. Hasil uji korelasi penggunaan kontrasepsi hormonal dengan usia menopause didapatkan nilai p=0,889, hubungan jenis kontrasepsi hormonal didapatkan nilai p=0,957, dan lama penggunaan kontrasepsi hormonal dengan usia menopause didapatkan nilai p=0,621 (p>0,05). Hasil penelitian ini tidak terdapat hubungan penggunaan kontraseps hormonal dengan usia menopause dikarenakan terdapat faktor lain yang mempengaruhi usia menopause.en_US
dc.description.abstractBackground: Menopause in years will experience an increase, with menopause at an average age of 49 years, while according to ovarian theory will stop reproducing when entering age 50 years. There are several factors that influence the age of menopause, one of which is the use of hormonal contraception. Hormonal contraceptive use is still widely used to stop pregnancy, in Yogyakarta 89% of women of childbearing age are still actively using contraception. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between hormonal contraceptive use and menopause age. Research method: This research uses analytical non-experimental quantitative method with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study amounted to 57 people taken by purposive sampling, which was based on consideration of inclusion criteria, the instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Results: Most menopausal respondents at the age of 45-50 years, respondents with hormonal contraceptive use were 23 respondents, the average use of hormonal contraception was 45.18, the average duration of pill use was 21.60, injections 22.95, and implants 0 , 63. The results of the correlation test of hormonal contraceptive use with menopause age obtained p = 0.889, p = 0.957, hormonal contraception relationship, and p = 0.621 (p> 0.05). The results of this study there was no correlation between the use of hormonal contraception and the age of menopause because there are other factors that affect the age of menopause.en_US
