dc.description.abstractAustralia has given foreign aid against Indonesia since long with concideration of”good neighbourhood” and the “white paper”. As the nearest neighbouring country, Indonesia has been the country’s biggest aid recipient Governments of Autralia. However, under the leadership of the Liberal Coalition Party the years 2013 to 2017, Australia took the policy slashed aid against Indonesia with economic considerations and also an overhaul in Australia aid agency which deals with the intergration of AusAid with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) where the new system policy agendas “new aid paradigm”. The policy makes the direction of help Australia changed from cultural diplomacy being part of investment and trade.en_US
