walet merupakan usaha yang memiliki nilai yang tinggi, hal ini terbukti dengan
harga sarang burung walet yang cukup mahal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menganalisis kelayakan usaha burung walet di Desa Lunang Barat Kecamatan
Lunang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan Sumatera Barat. Metode yang digunakan
dalam penelitian adalah metode sensus. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara sengaja
yaitu di Desa Lunang Barat Kecamatan Lunang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan
Sumatera Barat dengan pertimbangan Desa Lunang Barat terdapat gedung burung
walet terbanyak dan responden yang diambil sudah mewakili berbagai umur.
Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 12 petani burung walet.
Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis dengan 4 kriteria yaitu Net Present Value
(NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) dan
Payback Period (PP). Hasil penelitian menggunakan discount factor 12%
menunjukan NPV sebesar Rp. 204.529.333,- Net B/C sebesar 1,95 dan IRR
sebesar 26,14 %. Payback Period menunjukkan bahwa pengembalian investasi
yaitu 5,6 yang artinya selama kurun waktu 5 tahun 6 bulan. Berdasarkan kegiatan
tersebut usahatani burung walet ini layak untuk diusahakan. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Swallow bird business is a business that has a high value, this is evidenced by the
price of swallow nest which is quite expensive. This study aims to analyze the
feasibility of swallow business in Lunang West Village, Lunang District, South
Coastal District, West Sumatra. The method used in the research is the census
method. The research location was chosen intentionally in in Lunang West
Village, Lunang District, South Coastal District, West Sumatra with consideration
of West Lunang Village which has the most swallow nest buildings and
respondents taken represent each age. The number of samples used were as many
as 12 swallow farmers. This study uses analysis with 4 criteria, namely Net
Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B / C), Internal Rate of Return
(IRR) and Payback Period (PP). The results showed that using a 12% discount
factor showed an NPV of Rp. 204.529.333, - Net B / C of 1,95 and IRR of 26,14%.
The Payback Period shows that the return on investment is 5.6, which means that
for a period of 5 years 6 months. Based on these activities, swallow farming is
