| dc.description | This study aims to find out the influence of educational background and
parental attention to the religiosity of students of Islamic Religious Education study
program, Faculty of Islamic Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and
of course to find out whether there are different levels of religiosity on students.
This study used a quantitative approach with a type of descriptive research. The
method used in this study was simple linear regression and correlation analysis. The
instruments for collecting data used observation, documentation and questionnaires.
From the results of the observation, it was found that students of Islamic Religious
Education study program, Faculty of Islamic Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah
Yogyakarta who had a general education background had a higher level of religiosity
compared to students who had a religious education background. This is also
influenced by the attention of parents who have an influence of 10.2% in the
religiosity of students.
From the results of the research that has been done, the average student of Islamic Religious Education study program, Faculty of Islamic Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta has a level of religiosity at a moderate level in the value of intervals of 55-53 with a percentage of 62%. The majority of students with a religious education background have moderate religiosity with a percentage of 32% and most students with a general education background have a moderate level of religiosity with a percentage of 30%. There are slight differences with only 2%, but the results of the comparison independent T-Test did not get a statistically significant difference between the students of Islamic Religious Education study program, Faculty of Islamic Education Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta who came from religious education institutions and students from the general educational institutions. | en_US |
