| dc.description.abstract | The business activities of stamp/handwriting batik craftsmen in Sendangsari Village, Yogyakarta has the potential to be developed because of its good quality products. Their main problems are the marketing which is limited in the region of Yogyakarta and its surroundings and only based on orders from collectors or large batik traders. Besides, various batik products are still restricted to stamp/handwriting batik cloth with traditional motifs. They also do not have their brand. The solution to these problems is to facilitate those craftsmen with some training of e-commerce, development of batik motifs, product packaging techniques, and batik design innovation. The results of the activity of our community engagement
are the formation of a joint business group called KUBE Sendari Batik and Craft, an increase in the knowledge of craftsmen in the development of batik motifs and coloring, being able to diversify products in the form of hijab and pashmina with contemporary and traditional batik motifs, and already having the same brand with the name of their group, Sendari. | en_US |
