This thesis aims to identify what factors make China transform the ancient silk line into a new silk route through the OBOR (One Belt One Road) program, both domestic factors and international factors that influence it. The case study seen in this thesis is China's policy in launching the One Belt One Road program. As is known, this program is an ambitious program carried out by China to increase its influence in the world, can be seen from China's decision to invite many countries to cooperate in realizing this program. The potential of the success of the One Belt One Road program is arguably quite large because it involves more than 65 countries, this is also evident from the wide area coverage and investment funds issued by China. In answering this research question, the author uses "Foreign Policy Theory" (foreign policy theory) because it is considered the most relevant to be used as an analysis tool. Through this writing and theory, the author will explore what factors influence China's transformation of the silk line through the One Belt One Road program.en_US
