dc.description.abstractThis paper will describe the Islamic view on the strategy of building sovereignty in the management of natural resources, including the management of the sea. Although Developing Countries, most of which are Muslim, have succeeded in gaining independence from the invaders in the mid-20th century, but to this day the Advanced Industrial State, which has a liberal ideology, has not abandoned its occupation of developing countries. Evidence of the ongoing of colonialism is that the State is not independent in the management of natural resources. This paper uses a political economy approach to analyze the causes of the State not having sovereignty in managing the natural resources and their implications, as well as offering a view of Islam related to strategies to realize the essential sovereignty in managing natural resources so that they can realize "rahmatan lil 'alamin.en_US
