| dc.description.abstract | This activity have to aim to help the community to increase the managerial capacity of Handicraft Small industry.Partner in this programme are UKM MekarAsri and UKM BathokAdji, who have producing piece coconut shell handicraft (bathok) at Santan, Guwosari village, Panjangan, Bantul.UKM MekarAsri has made 12 item of piece coconut shell handicraft. And UKM BathokAdji has made 8 item. UKM MekarAsri, has considered superiority product,that is chicken interweave bowl. which have their order are to 9.000 pieces monthly, but their production capacity are 2.500 pieces per month only.
Management of production of UKM MekarAsri and UKM BathokAdji just very unpretentious, wich concentrate burden of work is to the owner. For company location, both of UKM are accesed to district road (tour traffic lane from Batik Pandak, Krebet wood handicraft and Selarong cave) be at distance of 500m. There are not yet available of cable telephone in spite of the track just already in the road.
Basically of situation analyses, there are identified the priority of problem: production room is unproper for work , not quite of machine, less of electricity power, not have finishing room yet and showroom area too, owner of UKM not have bookkeeping skill yet.
