| dc.description | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi potensi hama yang menyerang serta mengetahui tingkat ketahanan plasma nutfah tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) var. pulut asal Sulawesi (Waxy corn) dan tanaman jagung introduksi var. Black aztec. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan melakukan penanaman kedua varietas jagung pada lokasi penelitian tanpa adanya perlakuan dan metode observasi digunakan untuk mendapatkan data jenis hama, populasi hama, jenis gulma, jenis musuh alami hama, dan tingkat ketahanan tanaman jagung. Hasil penelitian menenjukan bahwa jenis hama yang menyerang tanaman jagung var. Waxy corn dan Black aztec terdiri dari 8 Jenis hama yang terbagi dalam 3 Ordo yaitu Thysanoptera, Orthoptera dan Lepidoptera. Jenis hama yang hanya ditemukan pada jagung var. Waxy corn berordo Rodentia, sedangkan jenis hama yang hanya ditemukan pada jagung var. Black aztec berordo Coleoptera. Tanaman jagung varietas Waxy corn dan Black aztec memiliki ketahanan yang tinggi terhadap serangan berbagai jenis hama dengan kerusakan daun, bunga jantan, batang, dan tongkol yang masuk dalam kategori ringan | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to obtain information on the potential of pests and determine the level of resistance the maize (Zea mays L.) germplasm var. pulut from Sulawesi (Waxy corn) and introduced maize plants var. Black aztec. The method used was experimental method by planting both maize varieties at the research site without any treatment and the observation method was used to obtain data on pest types, pest populations, weed types, types of natural enemies of pests, and the level of resistance of maize. The results of the study indicate that the type of pest that attacks the maize var. Waxy corn and Black aztec consist of 8 The same type of pest is divided into 3 ordo namely Thysanoptera, Orthoptera and Lepidoptera. The type of pest found only in maize var. Waxy corn have an ordo Rodentia, while the type of pest that is only found in maize var. Black aztec have an ordo Coleoptera.
