dc.description | Indonesia is the second largest producer of natural rubber (latex) in the world with production reaching 2,982,000 tons. But the selling price of natural rubber (latex) still very cheap in the market then to increase production and selling prices of natural rubber (latex) can be mixed with asphalt. Besides to raw materials are easily to get in Indonesia also helps the economy of rubber farmers. In this test using the Marshall method to determine the effect of the addition of asphalt with natural rubber (latex). From the results of testing with 6% asphalt content with a percentage of 0%, 3%, 5%, 7% latex obtained the value of KAO that eligible for Bina Marga 2010 specifications on the percentage of 3% latex with a VMA value of more than 15% of 16.97% value VFA more than 65% obtained a value of 82.31% VIM value between 3% -5% obtained 3.06% flow value of 3 mm obtained value of 3.18 mm Density value obtained 2.33 stability value of more than 800 kg obtained 1314, 70 kg and the Marshall Quotient value has more than 250 kg / mm is 414,008 kg / mm. | en_US |
