dc.description.abstractThis Research is trying to explain about why Indonesia joined as one of the member countries in the international cooperation forum for developing countries of MIKTA (Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, Turkey and Australia). MIKTA itself is a Forum or Group of international cooperation in developing countries that serves to discuss issues that occur in the international world and the potential for international cooperation. This study uses the theory of international cooperation and the Theory of Foreign Policy and this research also applies qualitative methods and the data obtained comes from books, journals, documents, articles, internet articles and other sources related to this research. Indonesia itself joined MIKTA in 2013 along with other MIKTA member countries during the formation of MIKTA on September 25, 2013, on the sidelines of the 67th UN General Assembly. The joining of Indonesia in MIKTA certainly brings some national interests that Indonesia wants to achieve.en_US
