dc.description.abstract | This study aims to describe shallot cultivation, calculate costs, income and profits and analyze the feasibility of shallot farming in Selopamioro Village. This study used primary data from the survey of 35 onion respondents with organic treatment and 35 conventional shallots. Data were analyzed using cost, income and profit analysis as well as R/C ratio analysis, capital productivity, labor and land. The results showed that in the study area there were two techniques of shallot cultivation, namely conventional and organic treatments. Basically the cultivation techniques applied are the same but only differ in the use of fertilizers and pesticides. Organic onions only use organic fertilizer and pesticides only. Conventional shallot farming and organic treatment on 1 hectare land area requires conventional shallot farming costs of Rp 108,144,664 and organic shallots for Rp 75,113,019. The conventional onion farming income is Rp. 104,448,410 and organic treatment is Rp. 109,245,669. The advantage of conventional shallot farming is Rp. 85,570,302 and organic treatment is Rp. 96,178,001. Judging from the feasibility of onion farming, organic treatment is more feasible compared to conventional shallot farming. | en_US |
