dc.descriptionLatar Belakang: Pemasangan infus termasuk kedalam tindakan invasif. Perawat vokasional dan perawat profesional dituntut memiliki pengetahuan, komitmen tinggi, kompetensi dan keterampilan. Keterampilan pemasangan infus dipengaruhi dengan karakteristik pasien, tingkat pengalaman dan kompetensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran keterampilan pemasangan infus pada perawat vokasional dan perawat profesional RS PKU Muhammadiyah di wilayah Yogyakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan metode observasi. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 50 perawat yaitu 40 perawat lulusan D3 dan 10 perawat lulusan Ners. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Analisis data dengan distribusi frekuensi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan SPO pemasangan infus. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 21 perawat vokasional (52,5%) memiliki kategori terampil dan 19 perawat vokasional (47,5%) memiliki kategori kurang terampil. Sebanyak 7 orang (70%) perawat profesional memiliki kategori terampil dan sebanyak 3 orang (30%) memiliki kategori kurang terampil. Pada tahap pra interkasi mayoritas perawat memiliki kategori kurang terampil sebanyak 80 %. Pada tahap orientasi mayoritas perawat memiliki kategori terampil sebanyak 65 %. Pada tahap implementasi mayoritas perawat memiliki kategori terampil sebanyak 70 %. Pada tahap terminasi mayoritas perawat memiliki kategori terampil sebanyak 55 %. Pada tahap dokumentasi mayoritas perawat adalah kurang terampil sebanyak 70 %. Kesimpulan dan Saran: Gambaran keterampilan pemasangan infus pada perawat vokasional dan perawat profesional mayoritas pada kategori terampil. Perawat diharapkan mempertahankan dan meningkatkan keterampilan yang dimiliki.en_US
dc.description.abstractBackground: Intravenous insertion included into invasive treatment. Vocational and professionals nurses are required to have knowledge, commitment, competence and skills. Intravenous insertion influenced by patient characteristics, level of experience and competence. Purpose of this research to describe skills of intravenous insertion on vocational and professionals nurses RS PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta . Methods: The study a quantitative research with design descriptive used observation method. Samples in the study as much as 50 nurses there are 40 graduation from diploma and 10 professional nurses graduation from Ners. The sampling technique used total sampling. Data were analyzed by frequency distribution. The research instrument used SPO intravenous insertion. Results: The results of this study showed 21 vocational nurses (52.5%) have the competence category and 19 vocational nurses (47.5%) had less competence categories. As much 7 patients (70%) Professional nurses have competency categories and as many as three people (30%) had less competency categories. In the pre-stage interaction majority of nurses had less skilled category as much as 80%. In the orientation phase the majority of nurses have skilled category as much as 65%. In the implementation phase the majority of nurses have skilled category as much as 70%. In the termination stage the majority of nurses have skilled category as much as 55%. In document stage the majority is less skilled as much as 70%. Conclution and Recommendation: Overview skills of intravenous insertion in vocational nurses and professional nurses majority are competence category. Nurses are expected to sustain and improve the skills possessed.en_US
