dc.descriptionDeveloping the economy of a state requires a significant amount of budget. Because of the required fund is pretty abundant, foreign investment is also necessary. By attracting foreign investor to invest into the state is not easy, making this concern to be interesting to research. This research is a quantitative research. The variables used were foreign investment, export, currency, and interests of 1998-2017. The data were analyzed using data time series data with Error Correction Model (ECM) regression method. The research result shows that in both short-time or long-term, export and currency has significant positive influence towards foreign investment in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the interest rate has positive effect yet insignificant towards the foreign investment in Indonesia. ECT in short term has significantly negative influence and shows that there is an unbalance between short-term and long-term concerns.en_US
