| dc.description | The phenomenon of Ustadz in the media is often represented as a dignified figure with a number of Islamic attributes as supporters in showing the sincerity of religious figures, pious and aulia people (people who are considered sacred) as references that become role models or examples of sufficient religious knowledge it supports in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to find out how Ustadz was represented in the Munafik 2 horor film, using Roland Barthes’s semiotic method, the results of the research are with the conclusion that Ustadz was not always true and can be used as a role model. Ustadz’s character is strengthened by several representation of Islam in showing that as a person who understands Islamic religion, Ustadz has various abilities and skills, one of them is Ustadz with Ruqyah abilities represented prominiently in Munafik 2 films. | en_US |
