dc.descriptionThis study discusses the efforts of the Grhatama Pustaka Library in carrying out a promotional strategy to attract visitors in 2016. This purpose of this study is to describe the promotion strategy that is carried out by the Grhatama Pustaka Library in attracting visitors and describing the supporting and inhibiting factors of the promotion strategy carried out by the library. The theory used in this research is the Soemanegara theory which explains several stages of the procedure in the promotion strategy. This research method uses qualitative methods with a case study approach method, this type of research is qualitative descriptive. The results of this study are Grhatama Libraries in the planning stage of promotion strategies do not have a target market and media selection specifically. In the implementation phase of the Grhatama library promotion strategy carried out through advertising, integrated marketing communication, public relations and publications. In the evaluation phase the Grhatama library conducts activities in 2 months, namely by discussing promotional content. Although the promotional activities carried out are not optimal, but thr Grhatama library is considered to be able to attract visitors. This can be seen from the large number of visitors and positive responses from visitors.en_US
