dc.descriptionThe North Korea problem is still a major concern of the Government of the United States for many years. A variety of strategies that used before didn’t make North Korea stops its nuclear weapons development. Research with the title "The Changing of United States of America’s Policy Among North Korea After Donald Trump Elected" has the outline of the problem why United States policy change occurred against North Korea post election of Donald Trump as The President Of The United States. The purpose of this research is to know the strategies that used by Donald Trump’s government to face threat from nuclear weapons development carried out by North Korea. This research uses the comparative method in discovering the differences among the strategies used by Barrack Obama and Donald Trump in dealing with North Korea. As for the source of the data used in this research is secondary data such as electronic resources, a trusted online news portals, journals, and the recording of the interview ever conducted by Kim Jong Un with Donald Trump. The cornerstone of the theory used is Foreign Policy Analysis – A Comparative Introduction who popularized by Marijke Breuning and Theory of Perception by Ole R. Holsti. x Based on the analysis carried out, the conclusion that the strategies used by Donald Trump (known as strategic accountability) to bring North Korea to the negotiating table related denuclearization. This happens because the United States Government led by Donald Trump using the maximum involvement of the related issue of nuclear weapons. In spite of the two meeting held between Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump have yet to produce an agreement between the two, at least talk about denuclearization is already appeared.en_US
