dc.descriptionIndonesia is horrified by the emergence of politics hashtags, namely #2019GantiPresiden. This political hashtag was first conceived by a politician from the party of the Partai Keadalian Sejahtera (PKS) Mardani Ali Sera. A variety of actions from the community supporting the hashtag # 2019GantiPresiden has sprung up, ranging from tweeting from social networks to the emergence of many people wearing these shirts. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative by collecting data in the form of interviews and documentation studies. Source of data by conducting interviews with five informants. The results of the informant's acceptance of the # 2019GantiPresiden tweet as a persuasive form with messages that tend to be negative to the general public which led to divisions between supporters, this is because many sentences are unethical, slanderous and not polite conveyed by the opposition which is not necessarily the truth. The form of the message received by the informant is persuasive because it is the political right of each individual to convey his message to the government, only need to pay attention to the data and the criticism given must be accompanied by a solution to the problem at hand. The informants opinions are influenced by perceptions factor from the tweet #2019GantiPresiden spread. The perceptions of the informants considered the news that was disseminated was not based on valid data and facts, such as Jokowi's reporting as a descendant of the Indonesia Communism Party (PKI), Anti-Islam, and so on. This is because the informants in receiving the news did not immediately accept but did check on the truth of the tweet.en_US
