This research was conducted from September 2018 to January 2019 which aims to identify the potential for agro-tourism development in the Banjaroya Reservoir Area as an agro-tourism area to improve the welfare of the people of Banjaroya Village and its surroundings. This research uses a survey method with descriptive and spatial analysis. In determining the place using purposive sampling method. Primary data is data obtained from the results of questionnaires from the community and visitors, interviews and results of soil analysis for secondary data obtained from government agencies. Data from soil analysis results were analyzed using the matching method between land quality and land characteristics as a source of parameters with land suitability criteria. The results showed that the characteristics of the land in the Banjaroya Reservoir Area were temperature 27, 550C, rainfall 2,981.3 mm / year, dry month 3 months / year, moderate drainage, dust, clay and sand texture, crude material> 15%, moderate CEC - up to high, neutral soil pH, C-organic> 1.2 and between 0.8-1.2, low base saturation, total N very low to high, low K2O high, P2O5 highvery high, low base saturation , sloping slopes to a slight angle, erosion danger is very low, flood hazards do not exist, surface rocks and rock outcrops 0%. The actual land suitability obtained for durian and longan plants based on FAO varies greatly. Based on the class it is divided into 2, namely S3-nr and S3-nr-na (according to marginal) with limiting factors, base saturation, lack of nutrient elements N and K. It is expected that improvements will be made by adding BO, dolomite (base lime) for base saturation and addition N fertilizer and K fertilizer can be potential land classes with S2 class (quite appropriate). Therefore the results of the identification that the Banjaroya Reservoir Area has a view potential of merbabu and merapi, topographic forms, and agro-tourism commodities such as durian and kelengkeng are supported by the suitability of the analysis of land characteristics in the Banjaroya Embedded Area so that it has the potential to be developed agro-tourism areas.en_US
