| dc.description | China merupakan sebuah negara dengan jumlah penduduk terbanyak di dunia. China juga salah menjadi negara dengan tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi tertinggi. Peningkatan ekonomi tersebut berbading lurus dengan meningkatnya kelas menengah di China. Dari sekian banyak jenis Industri di China Industri Perfilman merupakan industri dengan perkembangan terpesat. Ketika berbicara tentang film maka Hollywood berada di puncak. Hampir tidak ada Industri Perfilman yang mampu menyaingi dominasi Hollywood.
China sendiri sebagai sebuah negara memiliki kebijakan yang membatasi masuknya film asing terutama Hollywood. Kebijakan tersebut berupa kuota film dan penyensoran yang ketat. Kebijakan didasarkan pada kepentingan ekonomi China dan juga sebagai bentuk protesionism China terhadap Hollywood. Kebijakan ini dibuat untuk melindungi pasar dan industri dalam negeri China serta imperialisme budaya asing. | dc.description.abstract | China is a country which has the biggest population in the world. China also become one of the countries that has the highest economy growth rate. The economy growth in China is aligned with the increasing of middle level class in China. Among all industries that exist in China, the movie industry is the one which has the most rapid development. In terms of movie it is generally known that Hollywood is the most advanced. Almost there are no any other movie industries that can compete Hollywood dominance.
China as a country has its own policy that limiting the access of foreign movies, specifically Hollywood. That policy

is in the form quota of the movies and strict censoring method. That policy is based on the China’s economy interest as well as the way China conduct it protectionism towards Hollywood . This policy is formulated to protect the market and industry in China from foreign culture imperialism. This under graduate thesis, focused on the China’s economy reason in limiting the entrance access of Hollywood movies and foreign culture. | en_US |
